The Grey Men: Wealth

On our third album we pushed synthesiser experiments to the fore. The centrepiece of the album is our version of Steve Reich’s Piano Phase performed in a single take with a modular synthesiser. The other tracks then explore many of the concepts from Piano Phase, be it the phasing or pulsing or melodic / rhythmic looping, as well as our usual noise and distortion.
