The Grey Men: The Shape of Noise to Come

We wrote a series of musical canons to explore simplified, slow sonic structures. Noise is used at times to support and at times to obscure the tonal drone. Many of the tracks were made in collaboration with Mx Robert Frost, who also designed some of the electronics in my modular synth. The vocals are all found samples.

The title nods to Ornette Coleman and The Refused, artists whose forward-looking use of noise and chaos helped develop their singular visions.
